About the Lab

The Advanced Computational Flow and Energy Lab’s research lies at the intersection of fluid mechanics, scientific computing, and data-driven modeling. We develop and apply computational tools to improve the understanding and prediction of complex flow systems in engineering, energy, and environmental applications.

Our research focuses on high-fidelity simulation, reduced-order modeling, machine learning for computational fluid dynamics, wind energy, atmospheric and environmental flows, and fire-atmosphere interactions.
